Took Mom out to lunch today at Psycho Suzi's. I started out with a Psychotic Suzi while Mom ordered a beer.

We ordered the Hawaiian pizza for lunch preceded by an appetizer of wontons.

It was good to get caught up with Mom. I don't think I've seen her since Mother's Day because it gets so busy with work in May and early June. That's why I'm really glad for some time off now.

I don't think Mom has been to Suzi's since my birthday here back in 2012. She loves the atmosphere and pizza.

Second Hand Shops with Noel - Tropical Bird

On a recent second hand store outing with Noel I found this ceramic tropical bird. The tag called it a parrot but that's not the bird this figure represents. I thought it might be a parakeet but I googled that and the photo didn't match. Oh well, I think he looks great and is a perfect addition to the porch.

Pictured above with the bird is my evolving signature tiki cocktail. This time it has one part gin, one part orange curacau, and one part pineapple juice. The only difference from the original Hula Hula Cocktail is the pineapple juice.

Fifth Psycho Suzi's Visit for 2019 - Sunday Brunch

Gym workout late this morning. Starving afterward and lonely for Dale (up north). I headed to Suzi's which is a place I make a lot of unaccompanied pit stops.

I started my drink tab with the Psychotic Suzi. I came in it's refular mug but this newer version is black with gold eyes. Gold eyes!!

For food I ordered The Samoan which consists of eggs, potatoes, jalapenos, cheese, and a hollandaise sauce. I ordered another Psychotic Suzi as it's my favorite and for some reason it tasted particularly good today.

I sat by the servers station at the bar which is where I usually sit. Always fun to hear the banter between the bartenders and the servers. Since it's Sunday brunch there were a lot of older folks frequenting the Bloody Mary station adjacent to the bar. Upon looking closer I realized that the older folks were actually my age. Oops.

Got a selfie of myself in the peacock chair. I felt like Mr. Rourke on Fantasy Island.

Noel and I did lunch today and visited some of our usual second hand/antique shops. I came across this awesome pufferfish. He was a rather bit expensive and big enough that I wasn't sure I had a good spot for him at home. However, he photographed well.
